The Christmas spirit is about sharing the joys of this merry occasion with friends and loved ones. Time for Santa’s gift, for mistletoe kisses and for togetherness.
This Christmas card was painted by my Son Tahaki who is based in England. His squadron will be using this work of art on their Christmas card.
My thoughts do go to our troops wherever they are stationed in the World. The Spirit of Christmas starts in your heart and as long as you have it there, all the memories of happy times will come back to your mind and bring you joy and love even though you are so far from home. Be brave. We love you. Be assured that you will be with us in spirit and in our hearts during this holiday season.
To my children who are all over the globe, kisses and hugs to all three of you. I miss you and love you so much.

ARUTUA LAND OF MY ANCESTORS

Arutua is also my Mother's place of birth. It is located in the Tuamotu archipelago.

This last July I spent a month there visiting with family.

I would like to share with you some of the magical moments of this trip.
Enjoy with me these magnificent images of a Sunset over RARO (remote islets in Arutua).

These pictures were taken as I was crossing the lagoon and approaching raro with my cousin Jimmy. It took us about an hour to get ourselves there by speed boat.
It was such a wonderful and peaceful time!

Offering Ceremony at VEO related to the TAHEI IA TATA'A EVENT. A VAIRERE exclusivity.

It took several persons to pull this long lei through the cut in the reef called VEO. The in and out currents made it quite difficult for many to accomplish this task but with the help of all...PUATEA said that the ceremony was quite a success and will remain a memorable experience for all participants.
